Default Locking dipsticks/10.99 or quicker.

I've read that in 2010 NHRA is saying we have to have an NHRA approved trans dipstick that locks....whatever that is.......

How bout this? I don't see how it could come out with the spring attached...

Pete I think it's the tube into the case they are concerned with. So------ get a four speed & fogetaboutit

I think they are probably referring to this style of locking dipstick or a screw-in type.



I guess you would have to ask tech if the spring thing is ok.

Right....locks inside the trans.....got it........well...guess I'll have to break down and buy one.......does anyone know who makes one for a TH-400?

Mine came with my transmission when I purchased it 2 years ago from FB Performance. Try Cliff Whynaught at the track. If he can't get one I'm sure he knows where to get one.

Default Locking trans filler tube

Hello,

I believe that Lokar makes an NHRA approved locking trans filler tube system for your transmission. Their website is http://www.lokar.com/

On another website guys are taking the dipstick out and plugging the tube...no dipstick...no need for locking type.
